TaskBean Versioning

Versioning a TaskBean, allows you to specify changes to a TaskBean's properties at predefined dates in the future. A Job that is run by the JobServer will run with a version that is effective at the time the Job runs. This is a very powerful feature because it allows you to make changes to a TaskBeans properties ahead of time, and they only become "effective" at a set time in the future.

The following are the rules used when editing TaskBean versions:

• Past Versions - Can only be deleted. Useful for historical reference.
• Current Version - Its properties can update but can't be deleted or have its effective date changed.
• Future Versions - Can be deleted and updated. The effective date can also be changed so long as it remains in the future.
• New Versions - New versions can be created and the effective date must be in the future.
